In 3-4 mins, I can nicely find out P and C, prethink, look into the options and then even negate and come up with the right answer in 80% + of the assumption questions.
OK, you may want to do more UNTIMED CR practice and work on getting your accuracy closer to 100 percent. Also, you could shoot for streaks of correct answers of 15 or more in a row.

By shooting for 100 percent accuracy, you'll learn to see more of what's going on in CR questions and thus get more correct and get them correct faster when you take the GMAT.

Also, you may get some ideas that could help CR click from this video, if you haven't already seen it.

Also, I think I have to work on SC to reduce the time per Q (even harder ones) to 1.5 which I guess is the average time taken by all top scorers?!
I spent almost 1:50 per SC question the last time I took the GMAT. Everyone is different. At the same time, you have to reduce your time per question somewhere.

I think, overall, the better you are at articulating why choices are incorrect or correct, the faster you'll be. So, what you really need to work on in improving your skill in articulating that..

Without time management, I can't even completely attempt 36 Questions in the given time :(
For some tips on how to speed up in verbal, see this post.

I badly wish to know the secret behind a whopping score of 45 on the verbal section. :D I can study full time in these 10 days to incorporate whatever changes are required, given that I don't have to work on quant.
