you should be a good fit for lower m7/top 15. where are you thinking of applying?

Thanks for the reply. I am most interested in Kellogg, Columbia, Yale and INSEAD, and will probably be considering Tuck, Booth, Haas, Sloan and Wharton (HBS and Stanford are a bit of a stretch for me I think haha :-D )

Out of these schools, which ones do you think I have the best shot at? Again, my career goal after MBA is going into MBB or top tech companies

Agreed that H/S are big stretches. I'd say to go for Kellogg, Tuck, Booth, Fuqua, Columbia, Ross + one of Yale/Sloan/Wharton if you want to add a seventh school. You'd probably benefit from having a free consultation call with an MBA consultant though who will be able to give you better advice than I can.

Thanks jessepinkman! What are your thoughts on applying to INSEAD? I know it's a top school, but I haven't heard of too many admit stories for US and Canadians...

I know very little about INSEAD so I'm hesitant to give my opinion. CriticalSquare should be able to help out here

Thanks for the invite to chime in jessepinkman - INSEAD is a great program but a few questions for you lolzey.

1) Have you had any international work experience or projects? And by that we don't mean working with global teams (although that's always nice!) but true immersion internationally?

2) You mentioned Big 3 consulting or product management - where exactly would you like to wind up? If your goal is to work in the US, then INSEAD isn't ideal. But if you're looking to shift to Europe or Asia with this degree, then it could work.

3) Where do you want to wind up, geographically, in the long run?

INSEAD could be a great choice or it could make no sense whatsoever - let's see what you come back with :).

Cheers,

(HBS and Stanford are a bit of a stretch for me I think haha :-D )

Why do you say that? Your GMAT is the median for Stanford and HBS. Your GPA is only slightly below average, but not terrible. You seem to have good ECs and S/H love younger applicants, so 3 years experience is fine. I'd put your odds at around 10% for either school. If you really love one of them figure out which one you'd fit better at and apply.

Sloan odds (if R1): 20%.
Wharton/Booth odds: roughly 20-25% each.
Kellogg/Columbia/Yale odds: roughly 25-30% each.
Tuck (if you initiate interview): 30-35%.

You might also want to consider Darden or Ross... chances at one of those in the 30-40% range.
