Hi jtneee06,
I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as hoped. Scoring at a high level on the GMAT requires consistent study with a focus on training to handle the Exam in an efficient way. From what you describe, it's not clear what type of studying you did in the last 4 weeks before your Official GMAT (or what you've done since that date), but it does not sound like you were fully committed to your studies. The GMAT is really good at giving Test Takers the Scores that they EARN, so you have to approach this next phase of your studies with a different mindset to earn that higher Score. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each)?
Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to retake the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
