So, once bitten, Twice shy!!
I took my GMAT on Sept 1st, and got a score of 640/6.0. Now, I cannot rest in peace until I tame this beast called "GMAT". So here's a log of what I'm going to do until the next G-Day. I am sure I can do it this time!
Some of my plans:
1) I'm not going to book a test day, until I am going to cross the 7xx mark consistently on all my practice tests.

2) I'm going to diligently read the suggestions and plans of the experts here and work out a plan for myself.

But before I could think of more, I now want a break for at least a week more. I shall keep updating this space often. Please Clubbers, your suggestions and help is appreciated!

Thanks so much!
P.S. : This is a log of sorts for me!
When will you retake the test? Make sure you have an organized error log.

Yes guys! Thanks all for your suggestions!
@shaselai: As I have already given it once, should I still look into that or should I look into retaking strategies?
As a second thought an analysis of my GMAT is as follows:
My break up was 640(Q-47, V-31)/6.0. So I should concentrate more on Verbal. And also in the real test I felt that Quants were much easier than all those questions I had ever come across, put together all these forums and any other books. It was just basics! Or atleast that's what I felt! And that was one of the reasons I bombed the Verbal. I thought my performance was pathetic and so I was getting easier questions! Please I lost track of time during the break and took a 10 min break. So all that led to irritation and frustration.. :-( Attempted few verbal questions really very very well. In fact I faced a bold-faced CR question right thru 5th or 6th question and then came the bomb in the form of an RC! Then I was blank for the rest of the test! I wasn't confident with any of my answers! And after a point I wanted this to end! So clicked the last few answers away with just brushing thru the questions.
So, my analysis is: I should concentrate better on nailing the verbal more than anything.
Question to you guys:
Any specific study plan for the Verbal section???
Any other analysis results???

So yes,
After a brief hiatus...
I'm currently going thru the study plans outlined here. After that I plan to figure out my schedule. Currently I'm on a 12 hr/day work schedule. So I do not want to burn myself out. It's going to do more damage than good. So let me play safe. I am sure about the fact that this time, I am going to go slow and steady. I have more stakes this time..
I would like to get strong in some days as my work schedule would reduce to 9 hr/day.

What say folks? Suggestions? Stress management tips???
