Nice approach. Really like your determination.

Would you happen to about the 1000 PS/DS/CR/SC/RC and their correlation with the real GMAT?

I don't think that the 1000 PS and DS questions are any good. I went through the document and found most of the questions there easy.
Also the SC questions aren't something which you should use. I think that there's no point in practising questions when there are no explanations available because you become good at SC only by reading explanations which the 1000 SC document unfortunately doesn't have.

I will apply for the 2013 fall admissions.

I am so confused about what to apply for.

I think I will choose 6 schools among :
1. ISB
2. Stern
3. Ross
4. Darden
5. One among (Harvard, stanford and Columbia)
6. Schulich(I really like their socially responsible MBA modules)
7. IE
8. St. Gallen

1000 questions are a lot I guess. I personally didn't ahve a look at any of them but just solving all of them in addition to the material you have will be a daunting task. Also you might come across a lot of useless questions which are not useful for the GMAT.
