Cheers Bhai :)

You got a score of 710 despite the rigorous job pressure!!! Kudos to you for that...
If you plan to improve on that score, I'd suggest you set your target at +760

Your quant score is already very impressive! So don't worry about that... But make sure that you don't loose touch with the subject. Practice a few quant problems everyday to keep your math skills at its peak.

To get a 760 score, you need to score 50 in Quant and 42 in verbal :P

Improving the verbal skill is the main challenge here. You have to go from 36 to 42 - that's a 6 point increase. So try and build a study plan that revolves around strengthening the verbal part ;)

I would advice you to take the test within 2 months :P If you delay it more than that, the quant skills may drop :)

Thanks for infusing the confidence..... any inputs how i can go about chasing Verbal...
Following what i thinking of doing...
1. read a few books to pickup comprehention and sticking to books by american authors to get a hold on American spoken english
2. revisit manhattan guides for SC RC CR
3. Practice OG 11 and 12

Did you identify what is your weakness area, SC,CR or RC, that would make it easy to sturcture a strategy, hats off to your gr8 score inspite of the crazy work skedule!

710 is a good score, I personally don't see why you should have to take it again unless you are sure you will hit 750 or 760. If you end up scoring 720 or 730 or 740 even I dont think the universities will personally care for that 30 point increase. I would suggest trying to making the other parts of your application better...work on them now, let the GMAT go.

My performance was fairly even in all three areas with slight weakness in SC , but what i can recollect from tests i gave...

RC 3 questions right out of 4(per passage) was my usual accuracy
CR till OG level i was very accurate but beyond that my accuracy went down...
SC Average accuracy even in OG questions

Thanks for the suggestion it does comforts me.... but from my experiences while applying to schools i observed a difference of 20-30 points (730-740) was doing a big difference as i belong to "Indian It mail" group.......

A few of them
1. I am inclined to work in Asia region .....
2. NUS provides a better international mix of students than Tepper.
3. Cost : NUS's over all expenditure is less than half of that of Tepper..
4. NUS is better ranked in FT .....(NUS is 23 and Tepper is in 40's)

You need to analyze your Verbal strengths and weakness. I suggest taking two or even three free Manhattan CATs only on verbal with a few days interval (important that you take all tests from one publisher). Then you can significantly raise the reliability of your report analysis. For example see if you are weakest in CR, SC or RC. If your problem is with CR, I think going through power score CR bible is great. If your problem is with RC, plan for reading voraciously. If your problem is with SC, go through a GMAT-compatible English grammar book intensively.

Best luck. You just need a few tens of hours to join the 99%.
