Hi Folks
i want to share my story of getting 710 and then i will request your kind inputs as to how i can improve upon it.
I started my prep in August 2010 and scheduled my exam for 26 Oct 2010 , in the beginning 2 months looked good to me.
But with my very hectic work schedule (i clocked 16 hrs a day for all 8 weeks ) i got very little time to concerterate on my quest ... never the less i covered OG 11 and OG12 and Manhattan Verbal books(i took them pretty late in the day , and they were the best), Kaplan ...... I took Gmatprep tests and Manhattan testes and fairly scored 700-720 in all of them...
as the test giving stategy i made sure i gave the test in one sitting (helped to prepare mentally for the D-day stress)..
on the d-day i was carm and maintained my cool all through the test...
my score break up 50 Qa 36 Verbal.........

i will like to get inputs from the members of this forum so that i can increase my score to ~750 ...
I am not trying to be over ambitious by targeting a higher scrore. I belong to "Indian It male group" and with each passing year this group is getting more and more competitive and to stand out i need a better score .... i will apriciate inputs from all members in guiding me to better my verbal score

You got a score of 710 despite the rigorous job pressure!!! Kudos to you for that...
If you plan to improve on that score, I'd suggest you set your target at +760
Your quant score is already very impressive! So don't worry about that... But make sure that you don't loose touch with the subject. Practice a few quant problems everyday to keep your math skills at its peak.
To get a 760 score, you need to score 50 in Quant and 42 in verbal
Improving the verbal skill is the main challenge here. You have to go from 36 to 42 - that's a 6 point increase. So try and build a study plan that revolves around strengthening the verbal part
