The school that I applied to stated that I need a 570 on the GMAT to be competitive for admission. This is based on a review of my grades, transcripts, etc stuff.
I have not taken the test yet and just wanted to get a feel for "how hard" it will be to make this score.
Depending on your starting point, you could potentially require zero prep.
Take a practice test. If you feel confident and score above 570, I'd schedule the test. If you want to blow the baseline score out of the water to a much stronger candidate, a month of proper prep could do that.

Consider taking an official-mock from the MBA website after getting a bit of a feel for what the material and structure of the test is like. Just a quick fyi to also check whether the "570" refers to a score based on the previous version of the GMAT. On the current GMAT, scores end with a 5 (e.g., 565, 575,..., etc.)
