I have been preparing for Gmat for a few months now and have already taken online classes from magoosh, egmat and mgmat test series apart from doing the OG. I don't want to study any more concepts(im actually frustrated after studying so much and just want to get over with the exam) and am basically looking for an improvement in my score with the current prep level. I need advice in tactics/strategy for score improvement.
I know the concepts,I'm able to solve the questions in an untimed mock but somehow fail to score in a 75 minute time period.
These are my scores:
1)mgmt cat-630 and 600 (both timed!!). 2)gmat prep -690(unlimited time),without much prep and gave this before i gave the mgmat where i scored 600.
I've realised that every question is not to be attempted/correct but im not able to implement this on the mocks.know my weak areas in Sc(grammatical errors and idioms),cr(evaluate ,provide an examples and strengthen-700 level).I make sure to leave these weak area questions as it is. Even after leaving these weak area questions I end up making around 10-11 questions wrong on sc and cr itself. A few more wrong on rc- and I end up with a score which probably I would have got even if I didn't prepare at all.
I don't know what to do.I have no more energy to study and no more money to spend on any coaching.
I have to do mim and will apply either in the first application round(October) or second application round(December).
What should I do? How should I proceed? I have to give a 2 more mocks on mgmat and 1 on gmat prep.plsss tell me how to attempt them? Should i just attempt the first 30 questions properly and guess on the remaining questions?
I know people who prepare just for 1 month and score above 700. I need 680 and i'll be more than happy!
I need suggestions from experienced members and hope someone here would surely help me out.
Pardon me for my english...i hope im able to explain my problem. If not pls feel free to contact/message me.
Ps:The strategy for leaving weak area questions is working on quant section for me.Im getting a score in the range of 48-50!
