With GMAC's decision that as of July 11, test takers worldwide will have the flexibility to customize their GMAT experience by choosing the section order, I am at a cross-roads. My GMAT is scheduled on 1st July but I really think attempting Verbal or quant before AWA/IR could positively affect my verbal scores, even if not quant. I am a non-native and score poorly on verbal partly because I think my mind is exhausted from initial 2.5-3 hours. ( around Q49, V33 )
Should I reschedule to or after July 11 to take test in my preferred order? What are the chances that this strategy could backfire, assuming I will not have taken enough practice tests in the preferred order( verbal+quant+AWA+IR) as they are not available?
Somebody please advice what would be the best for me.
Hi
anupama000 ,
Looking at your situation, I will strongly suggest you to postpone the exam on or after 11th July.
For practice, I understand that GMAC will take time to update their softwares but other companies such as Veritas or Manhattan have already released their updated formats.
So, go ahead and buy those and practice hard before you give your exam.
So, run and go for the following two items:
1. Get your exam delayed soon as you are left with only 5 days now.
2. Get Manhattan Mocks at just $10.
All the best.
