Hi
I wrote the GMAT 6 months back and got a 600+ score. Started preparing a couple of months back and started taking the tests 1 week ago.
My first GMATprep1 score was 640 (Q 43, V 35)
When I went through my incorrect choices, I realized that I had made some silly mistakes. I attributed this to my timing which has always been very poor (even after using
GMAT timer on each problem that I solve)
So to confirm my belief, yesterday I re-attempted GMATprep1 (after removing the practice1 logs so that i could get different questions) in an un-timed manner - copying difficult questions, ending the exam, leaving the section unfinished and then attempting the question untimed.
I scored 740 (Q 49 V 42)
This re-instilled my belief that timing is a weak area and conceptually I am not very bad.
I need to know what I can do to overcome this bottleneck. I have tried a lot - especially DS (where i usually get down to solving the question) and RC
I am writing the GMAT in 2 weeks and I am full time into the preparation.
Additionally, which tests can I take to gauge my ability (I do know that GMATprep is the most accurate)
