Hi everyone,
I need help in switching from IT risk auditing role to a strategy based role with a decent work life balance unlike that in Auditing. I have come up with a few conventional (corporate strategy, FP&A) roles and a few unconventional switches (Marketing/Advertising, business development). Is it possible to make such a switch? If yes, could you please suggest the best path possible? I am a consultant with a big4 firm in IT risk auditing role and realize that I shouldn’t have gone in for this in the first place (due to monotony in work, bad WLB, bad comp). I am planning to pursue MBA to make a transition to any of the aforementioned roles. Is this feasible? Also what job position should I expect post completion of MBA given that I have 3 years of experience in IT audit role.
