Hello Guys,

I am reaching out for your help on making one decision, whether or not I should apply for INSEAD Full time MBA. I am 33 years old with 10 years IT Analyst experience and currently deciding to apply with INSEAD Singapore full time MBA and planning to settle in Australia afterwards and probably return to India after 10-15 years working there. So I am unsure if applying with INSEAD is a right move and does it have good value in Australia? Or should I choose to go with Australian B school ? I understand INSEAD have more global reach which can help down the line if I plan to return India later. Please advise me! I would really appreciate any help as it will cost me lot financially so I want to make a right decision here :please: :(

I believe that 10-15 years from now, when you want to go back to India, the INSEAD brand will help, but given your seniority, your career would matter much more, so as bb said, I would put it to what can you get in Australia just after the MBA with INSEAD vs an Australian school.

Visa would be a major issue I believe, to be honest, I am not sure you can have more chances with the INSEAD MBA than without it (would be more a matter of getting an expert visa or into a company that would value your skills, not your MBA).

Also as mentioned, if you are 33 now, it may be that INSEAD is not keen on your age (not that there are not older admits, but will be harder to get in).

Regards,
Pablo
