Hi - thanks for writing! Congrats on your job offer and your UNC KF interview invite! Regarding whether to go to Amazon or to proceed with business school, that's a very personal decision. I recognize the difficulty of it - one hand, you have some great operations experience already at a top Indian company that you'll be able to apply directly to operations consulting. On the other hand, Amazon is a great company that will further boost your resume as well as expand your professional network.
One thing to consider if you do decide to defer: 1. if you apply after two years of being at Amazon, schools may wonder if you truly need an MBA given that you have so much Ops experience, so in that case you'd need to make it extra-clear why you need an MBA to transition into Ops consulting.
Best of luck with the decision, and let me know of any other questions!

Hi,
I was planning to apply to US business schools in round 2, but recently I received a job offer from Amazon(Operations profile) that has put me in a dilemma whether to work for 2 more years or apply this year only. Presently I have 3-year experience of managing operations in Tata Motors (India's largest automobile company) and post MBA I want to work in Operations consulting. Pls suggest how much 2 years of experience in Amazon can add to my profile?
GMAT- 730
GPA- 8.5/ 10
Undergrad- NIT (premeir engineering college in India)
PS- I received interview invite from UNC KF, the only US college I have applied till now.
