I took my last attempt Feb and scored a 690 (Q47V38) with lots of prep towards quant and only a few days on Verbal. I want to retake to cross that 700 mark as it's important for scholarships beause I'm Indian.
My current verbal strategy to study is as follows:
SC: I followed GMatNinja's online videos and found them very helpful to watch just a few days before exam. Apart from that I have Manhattan SC book and some notes I collected from a friend who scored a 750 recently. I am going through those and practicing questions using all that I learnt from there + understanding meaning and comparing options vertically.
CR: I find assumption/weakness/evaluate questions very tricky. My general strategy is to read with focus and answer as per question.
RC: Struggling with timing, don't realize how much time I've spent in choosing between my last 2 close options. Mostly end up choosing the wrong one.
Any help is much appreciated.

You've prepped only a few days towards Verbal so that's a good sign you can improve it. For CR assumption questions, consider learning the Negation technique. For RC, becoming familiar with how INFERENCE questions work could also be helpful.

- work on one topic at a time
- learn concepts
- learn strategies
- practice applying what you've learned.
In that order.
And when you practice, it works super well to start off untimed and learn to see what's going on in each answer choice before you seek to speed up to test pace.
