So i noticed that the GMAC revised their percentiles recently. Obviously shifting the Quant down and keeping the verbal relatively the same.

Q49 just to break the 80th percentile?!?!?! That is insane.
I recently took the GMAT and it was held to this scale. Now my Q44 is held at a MUCH lower percentile, as is my overall 700.
Are adcoms realizing this trend of increasing Quant scores? Now I'm concerned that my Quant just isn't good enough (Obviously I know about the whole holistic approach. But lets face it, scores are important)
To me it seems as if the 80/80 split is becoming a bit uneven.
Anyone ave any info or opinions?!?!
I have read the MGMAT article addressing this, but wanted to get some other opinions. Now im dreading the fact that I may need to retake the test.

The previous percentiles are available here by the way: gmat-scores-83890.html
EDIT: quick look shows fairly small changes (quant is only 2 percentile points but quite a change in the last year). I think the scores will have to be updated (and perhaps the Q and V will go up to 60 instead of 51 they are capped at today)
