Hello together,

I have the Official Guide 2017 (Green Book) and the additional quant book 2017(the blue one).
If I take the test 2018, does it make sense to buy the new book or do the questions repeat? :)

If I take the test 2018, does it make sense to buy the new book or do the questions repeat? :)

The new OG has 130 (out of 900) new questions which do not appear in previous versions. The Verbal and Quant versions each have 45 new questions. So your call if that is enough reason to get a new one or not.

I think if you are not tight on your budget you surely can get it. In my opinion, those questions are the best to practice for the GMAT because they are the closest you can get to the actual question types and difficulty on the GMAT. Whatever you decide, I hope that you ace the GMAT!! Good luck with everything! :-) :-) :-)

Do you have any other resources? Could you maybe borrow it from someone? (Living in a country where minimum wage is around the $320 mark) I would say that you could probably spend that money on a different prep book and get more out of it :-)

Hi DodoDo89,

Do you mean that the questions listed are already in OG 2017? The questions listed should be new questions that did not appear in the 2017 Edition.
