Hi, Can someone please answer this question

A recent survey shows that people who read fiction regularly tend to have higher empathy scores than those who do not. Therefore, reading fiction increases a person’s empathy.

Which of the following is an assumption required by the argument?

A. People with higher empathy prefer fiction over nonfiction.
B. The survey measured empathy accurately.
C. Reading fiction is more popular now than in the past.
D. People who read fiction also read more in general.
E. Empathy cannot be increased through any other activities.
What’s the source of this question?

Hi, I have a question about GMATclub elite membership - would there be an option to create topic-wise custom tests?

Thanks, just to double check, I'd be able to select individual topics like Statistics, PnC and just make a custom tests, right?

Hello all, I’ve already given one official exam and while practising for it, I bought and attempted all the official mocks. Since I did not score that high in the first attempt, I plan on giving another. What are the other test series that I can opt for to get a realistic idea of where I stand? Official mocks are said to be the closest in terms of difficulty and types of questions, but my scores might be inflated as I have already attempted them...

You can do that. But frankly I’m not sure that’s the best use of the GMAT Club Tests.

Let me modify my comments above a bit. Since you are considering the Elite package, it comes with the adaptive quiz product as well. I’d suggest that you use the adaptive quiz to create topic-wise quiz, instead of using the custom test feature in the GMAT Club Test.

If you use the custom test feature, you will likely reduce the number of questions in the specific topic(s) in the overall question bank. That might reduce the number of sectional/full tests available to you, or affect the breadth of questions when you take the GMAT Club tests.

We used to have custom tests, but they are no longer available in the new edition of GMAT Club Tests. Instead, topic-wise practice can be done using the Quiz feature.

Thanks for the clarification, Bunuel.
