Hey guys, i had a query regarding applying to universities after attempting GMAT/gre. If i score good GMAT score and wish to apply to some (let’s say 6) universities, and if the universities have some application fees (say $200), so would i have to pay non-refundable fees (200*6= $1200) to the universities? Or am I missing something?

Yep. You got it right. There are application fees and that’s just the start. There are then deposits and tuition and books and all other good things. at the same time some programs provide application fee waivers. We will usually have a number of programs providing them during the MBA spotlight fair in June. So you can get application fee waivers for places like Fuqua and others so it is free. I’m not sure how this application year will look like and if it will be as generous as it was last year. Application fee waivers had been rare in the past but became more common during the pandemic. Also, if you are a woman, you can sign up for the forte foundation program which costs six or $700 but it comes with a whole bunch of free applications.
