Can anyone tell me once we have GMAT score , how long does it usually take to prepare your profile, Lor , essays and everything for applying in any college ? With or without consultant

So maybe you can cut it down to one week for school if you’re aggressive and as most people apply to 5-6 schools in a round you can in the best case scenario do it in six weeks but realistically still may need to take a couple months to do a good job.

Hi guys, I’m starting my GMAT prep tomorrow. My goal is to take the exam around mid to late September, so I have roughly 10–12 weeks to prepare. Do you know any good structured study plans that you would recommend? I’d really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

There’s probably three main approaches - they’re fairly similar about the timeline and I’ll have some cost I’m basically all involve learning and practicing but just using slightly different resource resources:
1. GMAT Ninja 12 week plan - based on YouTube videos and articles on GMAT Club. Still need to buy official guide and some other auxiliary books. This is the cheapest option but it requires for you to be proactive and staying on top of things.
2. get Manhattan GMAT books plus official guide. Everything you need is in one set of books. You’re not distracted by notifications and as long as you have motivation to keep going and pick up the book, you will be able to improve
3. getting a course - there’s a variety of courses anywhere from $150 for self paced Magoosh to $1500 MGMaT or TTP live classes. The most expensive option but also one where you are forced to stay on schedule and there is an instructor to help you, there’s a very set study plan and you don’t need to look for any questions or practice materials as everything is outlined in the single study plan. Because the course forces you to study regularly, on average just likely provides the highest ROI and the highest score improvement but all the three options above have been used realistically to improve scores.
One question will be is how much you need to improve and that may determine which route you take.
Another consideration is are you self motivated or do you need somebody to kick you from behind.
And finally how poor are you is going to determine some of the options as well 😂 I was very poor so I could not even afford the official guide which is pretty bad situation, but in general I would say there are so many resources on GMAT club that being poor should no longer be an excuse as long as you’re willing to invest a little bit of time and into learning and finding and practicing
