Hi all, are questions below 600 considered easy, 600-700 medium, and anything over 700 is high/hard? I’d love to know because I’m utilizing the GMAT club filters for practice. Thanks!

I would say that there are a lot of variations for unofficial sources. But in general your guess is right, but sometimes you might find some mismatches in all the sections. But it is more consistent for quant questions.

The source does not play any role in difficulty. Difficulties determined automatically based on the question performance among GMAT club’s population when compared to all other questions.

HI, It seems that my points are stuck at 99! I have been using the timers, posting explanations, however the points don’t change. Why is this so?
Can someone help with this?

Hi everyone. I’ve just started my GMAT prep using the Official Guides and also want to go with a self-paced online course, due to my current work schedule. I’m facing a dilemma in choosing between TargetTestPrep, PrepScholar and Magoosh. Which one among these would be best ? My test is during early April of 2024

Target Test Prep:

Focus: Primarily for GMAT preparation.
Strengths: Target Test Prep is well-regarded for its comprehensive and targeted approach to GMAT preparation. It offers a structured curriculum and in-depth analytics to track your progress.
Considerations: If you’re preparing for a different exam, this platform may not be suitable.
PrepScholar:

Focus: Offers preparation for a variety of exams, including SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, and more.
Strengths: PrepScholar is known for its adaptive learning technology, personalized study plans, and a user-friendly interface. It tailors its lessons based on your strengths and weaknesses.
Considerations: The effectiveness may vary depending on the specific exam you’re preparing for.
Magoosh:

Focus: Provides test preparation for a wide range of exams, including GRE, GMAT, SAT, ACT, TOEFL, and more.
Strengths: Magoosh is popular for its affordability, engaging video lessons, and a large question bank. It’s a good option for those on a budget.
Considerations: While Magoosh is comprehensive, some users may prefer a more structured and classroom-like experience.

Hi, thanks for sharing this ! I wasn’t able to find any proper comparisons before. But I’m a bit confused for PrepScholar. Does it give much priority to the structure and content for GMAT ? Since I have no knowledge about how well or poor its use is for other exams

Hello, I’d suggest you to do a thorough strategic review of questions and where you went wrong. Sometimes it can happen due to exam environment anxiety.
