hi

Hi everyone, please help me in a solution. Two trains running in opposite directions cross a man standing on the platform in 27 seconds and 17 seconds respectively and they cross each other in 23 seconds. What is the ratio of their speeds?

Just explored TTP’s self paced course and it is fully reading materials only. Is it not video sessions that are prerecorded? Is this good? Are there better courses to study from video classes?

If you really have gone through the five days trial of the course, ttp does carry video recorded solutions to the problems in its course. It is more like quant focused and fairly good for verbal.

Hello all, I am starting my GMAT prep. I have some CAT- India, Material. Would you advise I start with that and then purchase the OG 24-25 or start with OG 22 and then upgrade as per needs?
If you are planning to buy OG and dont have any money problem, then buy the new OG asap. Because you will have to mark the important things on that and prepare your notes accordingly. You will be familier with that same book and it will help your mind to revise smoothly rather than transitioning from old to new OG.
RELAX!!! If you are starting GMAT now then I will recomment you to make notes from the GMAT Coaching videos and revise. Then go for free practice at GMATClub, be familier. CAT is vast and you can see through it later when done with full GMAT syllabus for extra edge.
All the best.

Hi, I am a working professional and plan to give GMAT in September 1st week. I havent started any preparation yet, but gave a mock just to try. My performance has been poor (around 30th percentile), partly because I gave the paper at midnight after 10 hrs of work day, and I wasnt aware of some of the question types as well. My aim is to score above 700 in couple of months (may be a bit ambitious). Can someone please suggest if I should start with OG or some other material? I can spend around couple of hours on a weekday, and 6-7 hrs over weekend.

Also, if someone if looking for a study partner, please DM. I am based in Mumbai, India.

Hi! Good morning! My name is Sudharsan, and I am a verbal expert associated with IMS International - Chennai. You do not have to get flustered if your score in the diagnostic test was not up to the mark. And yes, solving OG questions will be of immense help. GMAT is not about how many questions you solve; it is about whether you have got the logic. If you get it, regardless of the question thrown at you, you will find the right answers. While I cannot be your study partner, I suggest you go through the explanations I have shared for some of the questions on the GMAT forum here. If you have any doubts regarding a VR question, you can let me know, and I shall post an explanation. Wish you all the very best indeed! :)

Hello, Can someone help me in verbal part?

please let me know the logic or I can say concept of solving different types of CR questions, since I am little struggling in that... Would be really really helpful.

Sometimes I even don’t understand what argument is trying to say, it feels little confusing & complex...

Hi! My name is Sudhanwa. Im new here. I just joined like 2 days back. I am aiming to score well past 700. My math is average or maybe above average. I am a computer science student.
The thing is that i am very confused where to start with. Some people say do not start with the OG guide, it will be a waste. Some say start with official mba practice questions. Even though I am vaguely familiar with the test format, these practice questions are not helpful to me when I dont know the pattern of questions asked also it’ll be good to learn some shortcuts and tricks to solve the questions.
I am right now mainly trying to improve my quant skills. It will be of great help if someone could suggest me really where to start! I’d really appreciate it
