my point is that on internet , there is no dearth of questions. gmat club has 1000’s of questions , but by practicing each and every type of question does not ensure success. practicing 1000 questions leads to forgetting. we need 100 questions before exam day for revision which covers all the asked concepts

100 which is truly reperesentative of the total populatiobn

5-6 questions per topic probably for which we can see the solutions andf revise

because solving hand to hand is again not possible before exam day

@bb, is there a file containing the questions from the first two practice tests? I’ve lost access to them. I checked the link that GMAT695 shared earlier, but i found a general list of GMAT focus questions.

guiliaber this is my point. only an expert instructor who has seen the exam multiple times or after extensive practice you will have to carefully select the questions ..2 against every 10 so that you dont have to do every question again and again

i hoped the official guide to have topic wise classification . with 10 questions from each topic so that we could move forward with it

but official guide questions are randomized

not in any sequence or pattern and some questions dont even cover all the possibilities that can be asked from that topic.

but mark my words, this is the only real way of preparation, having a sample is the key

this is the difference between experience and noob doing aimless practice

i have seen manhattan has diffrerent questions than kaplan

and then official guide questions are worded differently. i observed i was not able to answer some Og questions after doing manhattan prep

nonsense

the reality is , its not about easy or tough. things you dont know appear tough. there are some easy questions in official guide also. however, manhattan questions are just different when you compare with og, and then you dont know the process to solve og

ttp must be having all sorts of questions . they have range classification, easy to hard

test will also throw easy ..its not like that. whats hard for computer can be easy for you

this will remain subjective

Is it a good practice to go through more no. of questions aimlessly? Is it not better to go through questions and get a sense of kind of concepts and what kind of traps that are within them?

its bad practice. thats what i am saying

doing limited questions which covers all concepts is best

ttp has endless questions, thats whhy people take 6 months to finish it

we need good questions from experienced professor who compiles it from all sources and spoon feeds us at one place

to be honest, after doing tons of questions , to some extent , even a noob like me is able to detect some important questions ..example -4 out of 50 ..and those 4 cover all concepts tested in 50

but this is time consuming

i have been able to do so for few chapters

I tried GMAT ninja videos. Really good conceptually. I did it for quants and improved from Q68 to Q86 between 2 mock exams, 10 days apart.
