Because most of these courses are made with keeping US students and their curriculum in mind. Most of the Indian students specially from engineering background need more help in Verbal, and in verbal you need a strategy. Its my experience and nothing against these courses.

Getting a 500 on a cold mock test taken on mba.com . Can devote around 170-190 hrs before i give my GMAT FE . Is it possible to cross 685 by then ? if yes any strategies?

I got 315 on my first try, I need to increase my score to 600 by December, I guess it’s possible./? I got 315 with no preparation,even didn’t see structure before

Is everyone here so smart?

Hi everyone, did the gmat in 2019 and i need to do it again now. I studied on manhattan prep 6th edition, i understand that lot has changed since then. Can someone suggest which books to buy now?

I have read that manhattan prep is now good for the ones targeting a lower score, any more advanced book?

Hi guys, I got a 315 on the exam, I’m a non engineer female from India. I’m also a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 years of work ex. Shall I apply with this score in R2 or apply next year with possibly a better score?

315 in gmat, is really bad. If GRE, I am not sure. Itall now comes down to which bschools you want to apply. Some might have a gmat wavier, some might have their own exam.

Hi everyone,

I am working on improving my verbal foundations. Does sentence correction (especially grammar concepts) help in any way with RC (Reading Comprehension) and CR (Critical Reasoning)? To be honest, I never really paid attention to these during my school days. I don’t know the terms or core concepts but am familiar with their usage.

Started with Foundations of Verbal book by Manhattan Prep, First 7 chapters is SC can I skip this section?

Hi 210209048,

If you're asking about the GMAT, you don't really need to worry about when you'll get your official score report (usually 1-3 days after your test). You just need to make sure that you take the exam before your earliest deadline (you will see your unofficial score report immediately after you finish your test).

Also, try to take the test at a test centre (not online) so as to minimise the chances of any issues.
