Hi everyone, gmat scores on the schools section are presumably for MBA programmes, anyone have a rough idea of how much these differ for MS 1 year programmes, thanks all!

I don’t know if there is a universal answer of that kind so ideally you would find score specific to your program... Because the average scores can differ quite a bit. The most competitive and prestigious the program the higher will be the average score. I have seen masters programs in general to be less competitive and so require a lesser score for candidates to get in. I would say 50 points less is what I have seen For a few programs I looked at but you should be able to find their average scores ... At least perhaps for some programs.

Got it. Perhaps all you need is just a handful data points but if you can't find it that also hints that they are fairly open to the right candidates even if the scores are not stellar.

I truly feel ill prepared and practically incompetent. Almost as if my entire undergraduate degree meant nothing. The GMAT feels like it’s written in a foreign language but it’s simple English. The hard part I am trying to wrap my head around is developing the strategies and understanding of concepts so as to decipher each question better and translate them into something more layman’s terms, especially for Quant. I’ve been trying some of these questions and I feel like I’m missing a lightbulb or two.

Hey, So it is a super easy question but I am having a little trouble understanging the logic. Can someone Please explain it? The ques is: If n is the product of 2, 3, and a two-digit prime number, how many of its factors are greater than 6 ? The answer is 4 but My answer is 1.
Take 17 as the prime number for example.
So the number in question is 2x3x17.
It’s factors are: 1, 2, 3, 17, 2x3, 2x17, 3x17, 2x3x17.
Factors greater than 6 are: 17, 2x17, 3x17, 2x3x17.
Hence, Number of factors greater than 6 =4
Hope this helps

Getting a profile evaluation with an admissions consultant to see what your target score & schools should be. (I can help with that part)

Then, GMAT club question Bank has all the questions you need for free. Stick to official GMAT and LSAT material for preparation as GMAT is still a pattern based test.

If you want to hire a tutor to get a quick refresher on all topics before you start solving, that could be useful too. There are some free videos sorted by topic on GMATClub YouTube channel
hi wondering if I could get some help on target scores and schools?

also a very random question, I tend to mouth the questions when I read, I make no noise and plan to take the test at a test centre not online. have heard that online you could get punished for that sort of thing but in an assessment centre would this sort of thing be okay or could I get wrong for doing that too?
