Yes, the calculator on the test is pretty much the same as what you see here. That said, the overall user experience isn’t great, which is why most people agree it’s best to use it only when absolutely necessary, typically for more complex calculations, which are quite rare. In most cases, you can rely on estimation strategies instead. Personally, I barely used it during my actual test, and even when I did, it was for maybe one or two questions. So I'd recommend preparing with the mindset that you won’t have a calculator at all. Use it only if you truly hit a roadblock, since the time you spend using it usually isn't worth the return.

Hey, when doing the GMAT at a test center, is the calculator on the screen for DI the same as it is here on GMAT Club? I find it too time-consuming to click each number instead of being able to put in all the numbers via the number pad. Some questions require calculations, so it would be very helpful if someone could share insights in how much of a factor this problem is in regards to time management.
