If someone is aiming to get 85 in Verbal and 85 in quant, how many questions can you afford to get wrong in these sections.

Also depends on the difficulty of questions of the incorrect questions
And which question number you get the questions wrong as the exam is dynamic

Yesterday I gave a mock and scored a 575 in the previous mock which I gave around a month back I scored 495.
I am planning to give my Exam by mid November and my target score is 645-655. I have around a month left and need around 80 pts jump so any tips for the same?
My breakdown of score is
Q- 78
DI- 78
VR- 79
I’m in the same situation, if anyone could help giving some leads would be very helpfull. thanks

I hv been scoring consistent Q80-81 and so practiced 555-605 og level questions. I am managing 26/30 correct on a consecutive streak at unattempted filter. Do you think I should maintain this streak on 605+ as well to go beyond Q85
I am on a similar path as far as quant is concerned which is my weakest amongst all three too!

555-605 will help you strengthen the basics and be quick to solve at this level but I guess beyond 605 would be the real test how accuracies show up at that level and are you quick there - so maybe keep practising at higher level

Around 5 hours, the main change I did was I started to solve questions of 605-655 lvl on the GMAT CLUB, and the main focus while giving the mock was to get my first 5 Questions correct in all sections
My recommendation would be to approach it from a topic standpoint vs. difficulty and do ALL difficulties by Topic vs. some difficulties across. (take fractions only and do 10 questions of mixed difficulty; if you can get 9/10 correct, move on to the next topic). If NOT, then go back to whatyou are using to study fractions and review.

It is possible to do both ways however, but the topic is much more controllable and also more manageable to my compartmentalized mind. (e.g. my fractions are awesome and my probability is crap) - I can live with that because I know where i need to focus but I can’t live with it if it is too vague and I can’t see the enemy.
