Hi everyone,
We often come across threads that prescribe fixed steps for an exam routine.
A
simpler truth helps more: an exam routine is personal. There is no single correct path or universal template. Observe what serves you best and build your own routine.
Some prefer a brief warm up, others start straight away. Some feel sharper with a light snack, others do better on an empty stomach. Some perform best in the morning, some hit their peak in the evening. Some begin with their strongest section, others do better starting with the weakest. Some like an energy drink during the break, others just stretch and take a short walk.
What worked for your closest friend may not work for you, and that is absolutely fine. Performing on GMAT is not a team sport
A practical approach Use your first few mock tests to discover your pattern and sketch a broad routine. Do not change too many variables at once, or you will not know what caused a shift. Adjust one or two aspects at a time so each change is traceable. Once a routine starts serving you, keep applying it in later mocks. Minor recalibrations are sensible; avoid complete overhauls.
All the best!
