The key is to be realistic about your goals essay. Don't say you want to do something that typically requires previous experience , i.e., PE/VC. Aim for an industry/profession that is looking for someone with your experience. I don't know what that is but I would research it. Maybe something entrepreneurial or perhaps general management in a company that complements your background.

Thanks! That is actually what interests me! General managment and entrepreneurship! :) And marketing, I guess. Maybe even start my own law firm! So Harvard and Stanford is not unrealistic? Would be great to go to Harvard, the name is known all over the world..

Btw, what do you think about consulting? Does that require any previous experience? On the other hand, you have to have a masters just to go into consulting in my country. They wont even look at you otherwise.

You've sold over $1 million in insurance. Isn't that work experience?

Generally, it's extremely difficult to get into a top school with no experience. Think about the Harvard 2+2 program or one of the other early application programs.

Harvard's 2+2 program and the Yale Silver Scholar program are the two I've heard of. Good luck.
