I calculated the number of days between 18th November 1999 and 18th November 2005. 2 leap years and 4 non leap years=2*366+4*365=2192. Dividing this by 7, I got a remainder of 1, which would mean the next day. Hence Friday.

Please comment if there is something wrong with this approach.

Nov. 18th fell on a Thursday in 1999. On which day did Nov. 18th fall in 2005?

A. Tuesday
B. Wednesday
C. Thursday
D. Friday
E. Saturday

A date moves forward by:

+1 day for each non-leap year
+2 days for each leap year (because of Feb 29)

Leap years in this range: 2000, 2004

4 non-leap years → +4 days
2 leap years → +4 days
Total = 8 days forward

✅ Correct Answer: D. Friday
