B. You spoted the first part but missed the second part, "and made it.......", that is fixed by/in B.

I think I too missed first part and now realize that D looks better than B.

Is it E ? Its the modifier problem."A raisin in the Sun" is rightly modified by "the first successful drama" in first clause

Clear D. The choice is between D and E. But, in E, "later made it" has wrong usage.

OA is D. Can any1 explain wht is wrong with B?it begins with the drama name.

B is wrong solely because of 'in 1959'
