NUS - Low GMAT score

Question

Hi friends,

I scored 575 in my GMAT and I want to apply for NUS. I know it is next to impossible to get into it with this low score. I wanted to know whether after submitting my application, if I give my GMAT will they consider my score or not? Any idea?

How many years of work experience do you have and in what industry. I applied with gre score of 319 which is equivalent to 640 gmat score but couldnot get into nus. They sent rejection letter in one week only but just looking at my score so they donot give much weight to essays and other stuff. If you have 3.5 gpa and gmat above 670 then you stand a good chance otherwise the odds are stacked against you

Oh! I have 3+ years of work experience and about GPA i have no idea as we get marks in percentage..

But what if I give my GMAT post application and try to score higher, will they consider my new GMAT score?

It will be tricky as they quickly scrutanize applications on stats as they have 2 interviews. One of them is pre selection interview so I donot know if you could submit the score in 1 weeks time. Generally usa schools are more flexible in accepting new scores.
P.s what is your percentage and class rank if application.
I also had 3 years startup management experience but I guess nus do prefer the traditional job guys as they require referees office cards as well

hello, I am jumana..i scheduled my GMAT on Jan 10 but I wasn't able to take my test cuz I had some issues with my surname, so i had to wait till they change it..can i send my NUS MBA application without the GMAT score and later add them once i get my test results?

I completed engineering in 2016 with aggregate 73.85%
For the last 2 years I am working in capgemini as a senior software engineer.

I am also working for WeCare, a group of capgemini which works for various NGOs.

I was a member of school council.

I have participated in various singing competitions also a singer of TGIM group in capgemini.

Managed a project exhibition in college.

Responsible for managing KTs essions to juniors in office.

Thanks for writing in.

With the limited information you have shared (considering details pertaining to you your career progression + career goals are missing), we would suggest that you re-take the GMAT and aim for a score upwards of 710 in order to stand a decent chance at making it to NUS.

Of course, no score will guarantee an admit and a lot will also depend on the quality of the essays you put forth; however, a higher score will at least give you a realistic chance.
