Any idea about the Singapore's jobs scenario in general? I hear its difficult for international students to get a Job.

I also emailed NUS about the placement record but they don't have it.

wondering if MiM is worth the $$$$$.

I see that oatmealbanana has received an interview invite recently.

Yep, they have applied for the CEMS MiM programme. I am yet to hear about any regular MiM applicant being invited for an interview

Mainly students are on their own after graduation, AFAIK. I guess here it’s all about taking the chance, since NUS Business School and it’s MiM are so highly ranked it must be so for a reason.

Oh man. Does this mean that I’ll have to wait for another few weeks?! I’m on the verge of completing my SMU MiM application.

But i think NUS is better than SMU. Keep SMU as second option.

Hi Kin! I applied for the CEMS Program on December, yet to hear from them for the interview.

For sure. NUS is the 1st option but if I hear from SMU before NUS, I will have to go with SMU. Both schools have their pros and cons

Done with my interview. All questions were profile based and I think it went well.

But the weird thing that they told me is that the CEMS schools are allotted after the admission offer is accepted by the student and the allotted schools may or may not be from the 15 preference given by the student.

But what if the student doesn't like the allotted CEMS school? I don't think they will refund the acceptance deposit. The student is stuck in this situation. :silent:

That is a weird arrangement. What if you want to study in that specific country/continent?
Let’s hope you get into NUS! What are the other CEMS schools you’ve listed as preference?

Indeed its a very weird thing. The Non-refundable acceptance amount is 10000 Singapore Dollars, which is a significant amount.
After paying 55000 Singapore dollars in tuition fees, the student can't even get the school of their choice.
There are total 30 CEMS schools and NUS ask for 15 Schools as preference.

Hello, I have just been shortlisted for a interview for the CEMS MIM program at NUS. Has somebody already had the interview? What questions have you been asked?

Thank you.

Hi! I applied around the same time as you. As far as I know, they have sent a few invites for the CEMS MiM program and not the regular MiM. I emailed them as I started getting interview invites and admits to others schools & requested to know about my application status, they said they would include me in the next batch of interview invites. I’d suggest you do the same

Hey I told them that I have started receiving offers and interview invites from schools I’ve applied to & since NUS is my top preference, I would appreciate if they gave me an update on my application.
