Before I go in and take the GMAT, should I intentionally try and get a song stuck in my head?

You know--a fast paced song with lots of rhythm...

Haha, this IS random. I don't know; it depends on how you study. I'd suggest that you try taking a practice test with this and seeing how you do. You don't want to get there and think about The Beatles singing about Lucy when you should be focusing on isolating premises in CR. ;)

Agree with this! I had the Rocky theme song in my head for my exam and it helped me a little bit. But I had previous experience where I did well with Rocky in my head!

if it calms you down sure why not.. but arent you spending part of your brain "listening" to the song instead of taking the test?

Be careful! I used to walk to final exams in college with Tupac blaring in my headphones to fire me up until I realized that I was only building up adrenaline to set down for 3 hours when all I wanted to do was run around. Make sure you're picking music that won't be counterproductive!
