Duke: I was amazed at the pool of attractive guys at Duke. They far surpassed the other schools.
HBS: simply due to the sheer size of the program, the odds are in your favor for finding a few hot guys.
Stanford: Ehh, decent
Tuck: Great campus, but incredibly disappointing in the hottie department.

Ah, just found this thread and figured out why you picked HBS over Stanford! :love

While I can't speak to the actual odds, anecdotally there are many intra- and inter-class relationships that develop in B-school. If you think about it, the school has already done the lion's share of the work by pre-screening on a variety of important dimensions.

To determine the appropriate type of relationship, I've found this framework helpful.

This is hilarious, Farful!!! I completely forgot I wrote that post or that this thread exists. Wow, that was at the very beginning of my application process. It seems like so long ago... whelp, this is a nice re-affirmation of my decision.

The most interesting thread hands down.

Lot of funny remarks and great links. Had a great time reading through.

PS - My attempt at reviving the thread!

Well, I probably wouldn't have gone for both Haas and GSB. I would've dropped Haas for a school in NY.

This thread is great..I will be single when I go for my MBA and it's good to know how the programs rank on the hot-scale ;) I am wondering how many people are open to inter-racial relationships/hook ups. Which schools would be the most liberal in that sense?

Interracial dating abound. You'll be among very educated people so you likely won't see much in terms of close-mindedness and bigotry. That said, your dating opportunities will of course be subject to the racial makeup of your class/college.

This graph only applies to males looking for female partners. Obviously, for females there needs to be a z-axis labelled "net worth".

So what's the dating potential at INSEAD?

The program is so short and since you travel to multiple campuses, you'll be in and out in no time. Gotta make it count. Unfortunately the age group is a bit older, so a bit more likely that people are married (or more desperate, if that's how you want to frame it)

While I generally agree, I would say that Haas and GSB aren't going to be great for inter-racial relationships. This is coming from an educated SINGLE bi-racial lady that lives in the Bay Area. We're definitely more progressive in thought, but when it comes to dating there are definitely certain races that each "male race group" goes for in the Bay Area. This certainly doesn't apply to all, but is the majority.
