Hi guys,
I have strated GMAT preparation two weeks back. I currently wanted to understand the difficulty level of the exam especially verbal part which i feel is a chllanegin one to me. However, i have solved about 100 questions in OG 12 problem solving section. I was correct about 96 questions and misunderstood rest of the questions. i'm trying to do rest of 130 questions in coming days. I did not struck at any of those problems. I'm wondering is OG 12 really simulates the real GMAT exam? or i need to work beyond OG 12 to get good score. I'm aiming to the maximum score in order to reach more than 700 since english is not my favorite subject from childhood. I recently took OG diagnostic test and scores are given below. I appreciate you guys input. thanks.
The results of OG diagnostic Test
1. Problem solving : 19 correct out of 24
2. Data Sufficiency : 17 correct out of 24
3. Reading Comprehension : 13 correct out of 17
4. Critical Reasoning : 9 correct out of 17
5. Sentence Correction : 10 correct out of 18

Its a fairly accurate diagnostic IMHO and quant reflects what you should expect at the gmat. However that does not stop you from working on some higher level quant in house resources that we have here, especially Bunuel's signatures. Those are tested and proven methods of achieving a higher quant score.
looking at your scores, I feel quant should not be much of a problem, but your SC and CR need wont worry because you are just starting out. Just fix up a study plan and hop in
