On an airline flight with p passengers, 80 requested a pillow and 120 wore their seatbelts for the entire flight. If 3 passengers chose not to wear their seatbelts at all during the flight and did not request a pillow and 14 couples on the flight both requested a pillow and wore their seatbelts for the duration of the flight, then what is the value of p?

A. 217
B. 189
C. 175
D. 80
E. 55

Pillow No Pillow Total
Seatbelts 14 106 120
No seatbelts 66 3 69
Total 80 109 189

Therefore p = 189

Hence Option B is correct.

Sir,, Its 14 couples,,, hence total will 14 * 2 = 28
u have considered only 14
plz correct me if im rong
many thanks
