Nov 14 intake signing in!

I'm 28 / IT Consultant / Sydney

My main concern is how are people paying for this? EURO 60K...the max loan you can get with IE is EURO 30K...so that leaves 30K hole. And that's not including expenses!

Has anyone applied for scholarships or fellowships?

The loans I've seen through IE state that they can cover up to 80% of tuition fees. You could also apply for loans in Australia. Banks would probably look at someone getting an MBA from a top school as a good investment. I'm applying for loans through Sallie Mae in the U.S.

Congrats on admission! See you this Fall.

Please migrate conversations there (I've included this thread for historical reference there)

Thank you!

The same here....
I will apply for a loan here in chile.. is not an easy task.

You are applying for a Loan at this time? At IE they told me to do it no earlier than 3 moth before the program start. The same goes here in chile.

I´ve been in spain a couple of times. Is a wonderful city. My girlfriend will arrive early because she will do a master in psicology. I think she will have to search for an apartment.

I will probably arrive at mid-oct.

I am applying for a loan to make sure I can get one for the amount I need. I'll probably let the loan application lapse and apply again closer to the date of my arrival but I want to make sure before I inform the other schools that I will not be attending. When I sit down with my wife and review where I have been accepted, we can weigh IE vs. the other schools and make sure it makes sense on all levels. I just want to be absolutely sure since it may be impossible for my wife to get a job in Spain so we would both be not working while I'm in school.

Forteology and benja333,

I am applying for loans as well for Nov. intake.
Have you received the reply from IE regarding the loan? Will you receive it?
