It looks like when students go for internship in 2 years mba, they get a CPT.
Does this cpt affect the opt extension by reducing it ?

Hi. It does not reduce it unless you take more than the allotted 10 weeks.
Your OPT will be reduced only if you take CPT during school beyond the 10 weeks. E.g. if you do a year-long internship, it will reduce your OPT by a year (i believe)
