My answer is D.

Is it the higher costs to raise those produce which limit the supply or is it because those produce are raised in smaller farms?

Yes, I forgot a simpe but a very important rule.
Don't stray away from the scope of the passage.

I think only A and B are contenders. B also strays a little away from
scope as pointed by Botli.

Then I guess the answer is A. :thanks

I will go with E.......

A) MAY be the produce naturally has a good taste and So it MAY not be the reason that it costs more to raise.

b)May be it is not the smaller supply but the COST of raising which is contributing to the expensiveness of the produce.

C) does not apply here. OUT.

d)The supply is limited because it is grown on small farms NOT the other way. SO OUT.

We are left with E

All the choices B C D E can be refuted. Just looking at the stem of the problem and assuming that there are only two types of produces ( Organic and Non Organic ) and Organic always tastes better than Non organic only A can be infered.

Oh Yeah is A.

Choice A is correct. choices B, C, D and E may all be true, but they
are not logically inferrable from the statements provided. Choice B
refers to the cost to consumers, which is not mentioned in the
statements. Choice C refers to the difficulties of raising better
tasting produce, which is also not mentioned. Choice D posits a
plausible causal link between the high cost of raising organically
grown produce and its limited supply , but this link is not
established in the statements. Choice E posits a plausible causal
link between the fact that orginically grown produce is raised on
small farms and the cost of raising it, but this link is not
established by the statements. IF organically grown produce tastes
better , AND organically grown produce costs more to raise, THEN we
can logically infer that the better-tasting produce costs more to
raise.

I thought that OA is D. In my opinion D is the most suitable option in this case

The stem says organic food tastes better. That doesn't mean. What ever tastes better must be organic
