30 percent of the players on a team scored goals
70 percent of the players on a team did not score a goal
the ratio of players on the team who scored goals to those who did not = 30/70 = 3/7

Choose an arbitrary value for the TOTAL number of players.
Let's say there are 10 players.
30 percent of the players on a team scored goals
30% of 10 = 3
So, 3 players scored goals, which means the remaining 7 players did NOT score goals.
What is the ratio of players on the team who scored goals to those who did not?
3 to 7
Answer: C
