Folks,

Any idea whether Said has release scholorship decision for R2?
Also when is the final date for making the payment and confirming the offer ? ( R1 admits can you throw some light on how long they allow).

For R1, scholarship was sent along with the acceptance email - at least that's the response one R1 student got when asking about scholarship. Final date for R1 was a ~month from the acceptance date; final date should be mentioned in the package you will be receiving soon. You could always get in touch with the admins.

I checked out the intranet and it seems the general scholarships were all awarded by email with the acceptance note. Kind of a bummer...I got money from Cambridge but not from Oxford so Judge is moving up in my ranks. There is no word when other Said scholarship decisions will be made.

I know, I've been wondering what has been happening on here. I think R3 is much smaller than the first two rounds.

For those admitted, has anyone heard back about their colleges? I'm still waiting and got my payment and selection in on the first day.

Well I am pretty disappointed that I don't seem to have any company on GMATClub for R3.

Anyway, my package is complete. I am pretty happy with the essays, recommendation letters and short essays. I am going to be submitting the package this week. Deadline is 27th. Any advice, anyone?

Humm well that could be a really good thing that you are the only one :)

Advice... i'd say send it in at least a couple days early to make sure there aren't any unforeseen issues. Aside from that, just make sure the essays are cohesive and tell a continuous story adding to eachother rather than repeating alot of the same content.

After my interview, i would also pay attention to real but unstated weaknesses in my essays. The interviewer definitely picked up on my weakness which was my vague post MBA plans, although i wrote a whole essay about it, she really nailed me during the interview. It was both good and bad, I was honest and said i'm not sure and described what i would like to do, but that could have gone equally bad.

I should be making the payment early next week. I was waiting for the final IMD results and seems like I will be in IMD waitlist for some more time.

Help requested by any current / prospective student of Oxford Said (its a little bit urgent):

I want to include some courses in my goals essay and I am trying to collect information about an elective course which appears on the Oxford Said website, named "Political Risk". Can somebody tell me who the professor is? What the scope of the course is?

One final question is: is Oxford Said in any way related with the other research branches of Oxford University (I am particularly interest in Energy).

A current student here. Depending on lecturer schedule, the courses might be/not be available. I am not sure who will be lecturing political risk at this point. So, I am sorry that I am not able to provide much information on this.

Regarding Said's affiliation with other departments of University: SBS has both well structured formal ties as well as informal need based ties with other departments. But, the point to take away is that SBS plays a major role on business side of most of the research carried out by the larger university. I have seen some of the amazing innovations so far in my 7 month stay here. I cant name most of them because of obvious reasons. One quick example could be the self drive car Oxford is developing. I personally took photo of the car with the inventor.

Hi, R3 deadline is tomorrow. Is there a time deadline specified. I remember, for Cambridge, the time deadline was 5pm UK time for all rounds. But I dont see a time deadline on the Oxford website.

I believe that's the date you get to know if you got invited to an interview and I think the actual interview dates are 21/22, May.

Question -- will our application status be reflected in the online application? I mean after the "application submitted", are we to expect "application under review" and so on going forward?
