My Tips for Alberta Fanciers
Alright, Nezdem applied to Alberta, then got invited for the video interview. The video interview was done through another firm for Alberta School of Business. Then got the bad news. We regret ...
I briefly got over the bad news. But I wanted to at least confirm my shortcomings, so I requested for that.
I was given what looked like a frank reply, which borders on my not-enough-details in the video interview responses and... lack of details in the recommendation from my boss!. I now know why they send assassins to kill people . I wouldnt flinch on my boss right when i got the email.

I know one question in the video interview that caught me offguard- (How's your personal accountabilty? Something like that on Personal Accountability). I almost drew blank.
You might want to google 1000 interview questions and at least know what they all mean before going to Alberta video interview so you would be top notch because they have too many qualified applicants than they can take. I really did my home work but was a bit surprised still.

Hi All,
I have benefited a good deal from you all. Sharing my experience below in the hope that it might help others.

Applied on 1st June.
1st Interview invite on 9th June.
Completed interview on 12th June (Sunday).
2nd interview invite from Charlene on 14th June.
Completed interview on 21st June.
Received email from Eva to share my semester mark sheets on 22nd. Have shared the mark sheets a few minutes back.

Thanks to all you guys - Manoj, Srini, Vijay, CABBA and all others for sharing timely insights which were immensely helpful.

Congratulations smichsse! I also get an email today from Eva confirming the recommendation for admission.
I'll start the process for the study permit. Can someone share the times for getting th formal admission letter once received the email from Eva?

Figured I'd chime in here as I found this thread useful after I submitted my application in. Thanks to those that shared their experiences so far.
Got my acceptance to the FT program yesterday.

I had got an email from Eva on 13th mentioning that they have recommended my admission to FGSR.

I checked on the U Bears : Application Status Today ; Its showing status as ADMITTED.

Is there anyone in the stage post the sending of your original transcripts. My original transcripts reached the University on Feb 21. But still there is no update or reply from their side.

I have a similar background (IB + PE). Did you get through the Alberta program? Is this school really that skeptical about hiring people from an IB background since Calgary is a hot bed for Energy & Natural Resources IB. Any advice for me, although i recently submitted my application.
