Any help anybody?
I am holding on to my application to hear back on this factor. I had called up Christopher Lynch (Sr. Director, Recruitments) and he suggested to me that I should consider going ahead with my MBA in general management.
Now I am not really sure, how this will turn out.
I am worried companies might not recruit people if they do not have any exposure in the field of consulting. Though a 3 month specialization will not help you become an expert in the field, but it is always better to know something than nothing. Another thought lingering in my mind is If i have to really move across locations to build my network and get myself jobs if I am looking at consulting as my post-MBA career path.
Appreciate your inputs everybody!
Regards,
Vijay

Hi Everybody,
I was trying to look how the post MBA careers might shape up after Alberta MBA.
I am from the technology background and have worked with firms like Infosys, IBM and currently with Oracle.
If i wish to take forward my career in consulting, is Alberta MBA good?
Looking at the specializations offered, I feel it is not suitable for me.
Finance
Innovation & Entrepreneurship
International Business
Natural Resources, Energy & Environment
Public Policy & Management
Sustainability
Appreciate any pointers on this. Anybody here from the tech background and have applied to this college?
Also, if somebody can tell me which school in canada is most suitable for pursuing a career in technology/consulting.
Vijay
