anybody with scores like 720,710(particularly Indian) got an interview invite in 2nd round? or is it the end of road for such applicants?

Re-Application this year. Was WLed last year all the way through the end and then was informed that I was off the WL, without admission.
Just finished an interview this morning. It was easy and fun and conversational. It just lasted for 30 minutes, exactly?
Questions included:
- Who is your inspiration?
- Why MBA and why now?
- What are your short-term goals?
- What is your plan B?
- Why UNC? Why apply here again?
- Tell me about your involvement in volunteer work?
- What you look for in your team members?
- Any questions for me?

For R2, does everyone hear back on the Jan 29th deadline? Or is it on a rolling basis? I know interview invitations were rolling so I wanted to verify

Unless it is an admit decision with some moolah.. chances are, you'd hear on the decision date.
For me, last year, I was on the WL and heard on the decision date only.

Unless KFBS comes to you with scholarship, I'd go to Darden - If I were in your shoes.

Aaahh.. That certainly helps, though I haven't checked how much of a difference it makes.
Are you pursuing in-house strategy or consulting side? I heard (if I am not wrong) with a new dean, Darden in on an upswing on consulting side.
Whatever you end up choosing, all the best.

not true. You may hear back a day or two in advance if your interviewer so chooses. And that’s irrespective of whether you have a fellowship or not.
