Empower GMAT or Target Test Prep

Hello Everyone,

I am bit confused if to go in for empowerGmat or TTP

I have already taken E Gmat and I am finished with their SC which I must say is very well structured.

But, Now I am looking for a course which can give me 2 month study plan and allow me to achieve my desired results that is anything above 700 score.

It will be my first and last time for GMAT as that's the time period I have given for GMAT prep, through with 1.5 months and 2 more to go.

If someone experienced can guide would be highly obliged.

Hi,
I was in your situation a few months ago. I scored a 570 and was looking for a 100 point improvement. I was confused which course to take as there are plenty of online courses available. I needed a course which can provide me a personalized feedback rather than a generic one. Most of the courses offer the same content for everyone. That's when I got to know about GMATWhiz and its personalized approach. I enquired a couple of people who got benefited from it and found it worthy. I eventually went with it and found it really helpful.

I scored a 680 after preparing using the course. For you, I would recommend GMATWhiz because not all students have the same understanding level. Let me share a few important points of how to select the right course. The best way to select the course is to check the free trial of the course and then decide whether it is suitable for you or not. There are plenty of online courses available and in your case as you are confused between the two, I would recommend to check the free trial of both the courses and then decide.

From my experience, both are fine. It is better to use their trial version. TTP newly launch verbal part too.

Target test prep is great for Quant. If quant is your weaker section then TTP will do the job.
They have recently started Verbal as well, but you will have take a trial of the course to find out how good it is for verbal.

Hi bikram09,

Before we can discuss how you might best continue on with your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) Have you used any other study materials besides the one that you listed?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
