Any idea how are the invites being sent out? Are they region wise? Anyone from India who received an invite today or did everyone from here receive it yesterday?

Just received mine through email. Have all of you been invited to the assessment day as well? It usually was for when ADCOM was kind of on the fence with your profile, but this year they say they have lots of candidates.

Yes, I was invited to assessment day as well. Which did you choose A or B?

well assesment center is part of the admission process usually its held on campus or in a city near your home country , but this year the assessment center would be done on virtual platform..

Interesting that folks have been invited to the assessment day.

I interviewed with them for the early decision round and did not have to participate for the assessment day. However, my profile has been waitlisted for now since they have a large volume of applications and it's a very competitive pool.

Can you briefly talk about your profile? GMAT, background etc?

I asked the U.S. Admissions Director about this, and she said that they held off on Assessment Day for ED because they had not figured out how to run a virtual format that tested what they were looking to assess. She said they would probably bring it back for Round 1 which looks like the case.

Hey,

I still haven’t received any decision.
Are they done rolling out?

I did not get the choice to attend option A of the assessment day, that is strange. I live in Spain BTW so the time zone is really not a constraint.

I'll try to ask about what specifically is done on the assessment day, but what I know is that they test your ability to work with others in an academic environment. My guess is that it is a case study, but who knows...

It used to be something to know more about candidates who the adcom had doubts about, but I guess it will be another hurdle in the admission process now.

Hi,

I haven't heard back from the school yet.

Is anyone else in the similar situation?

Thanks

Looks like we missed the boat. Does IESE not send rejections?

Hey. I am also in the same boat. I haven't heard anything from them yet.

I have considered it as ding.

This makes a lot of sense, thank you for sharing. I wonder how they'll compare Early Decision folk vs. R1 applicants now.

No problem! You could always try asking if they would be willing to give you the opportunity to participate. I feel like it shows initiative and commitment. The worst they will probably say is that they are already at capacity.
