Hey everyone!
I’m Saif, an LBS alum and former LBS Admissions Interviewer. I recently went through the MBA application process myself and ended up getting into INSEAD plus multiple M7/T15 programs with a 595 GMAT.
I know how overwhelming this whole process can feel, especially balancing work/study alongside GMAT prep, essays, interviews, recommendations, and applications all at once.
One thing I realised through the process is that applicants are far more than just a score. Essays, positioning, clarity of goals, recommendations, and overall narrative matter WAY more than people think. I also massively overthought the GMAT myself. Looking back, I probably should have spent less time chasing incremental score improvements and more time focusing on the actual applications.
With R1 deadlines for the 2027 intake getting closer, now is honestly the time to start thinking seriously about your story and applications.
Happy to help where I can. Feel free to reach out through the website if anyone wants a free
profile review/chat.
