I know this is a common question for the uncertain but here it goes. I'm going to apply to b-school (Marshall and Anderson) for part-time fall 08. I have a 3.1 gpa with double major from UCSB. I have 2.5 years working experience and I'm currently a senior financial analyst. My gmat score is a 650. I think I'm borderline for Marshall but how competitive am I really? Should I take the gmats over? I'm pretty sure I can do better second time around but, like most people, despise data sufficiency questions. Any opinions, suggestions, and/or advice would greatly be appreciated.
I am hoping to make it for 2008 FEMBA @ UCLA. Planning to take my GMAT in Dec, complete application by Jan end. I hope they still have some spots left in Feb. Anybody have any information on how fast they usually fill the spots?
I too am interested to know about these programs too as I want to stay within Southern California (better to raise kids!) and these two programs are the best of the part-time programs in the LA area.
3.46 GPA from a small school in Amish Country, PA, 690 GMAT 4 years exp by the time we start classes in Fall 08.
Will look forward to meeting all of you at school!

they accept applications until April, and there was still some spots past that from what I am told. Some didn't get admitted off the wait list until after that.
