Can Past Perfect be used in a single sentence? or

No Single event can not be presented using past perfect tense. However, there are some exceptions such as while using time frame.
1) By the age of 25, Nadal had won Wimbledon championship five times. (he may continue till date, but stress of time, i.e. till the age of 25).
