Hi there,

I don't have extensive experience with Asper per se; I can say generally they are not usually thought of among the top handful of Canadian b-schools (you can have a look at the Financial Times Global MBA rankings for the most commonly-cited global ranking; also here are some Canadian rankings: https://www.eduniversal-ranking.com/busi ... anada.html). In terms of their employment statistics, most schools post those on their websites, you can search for 'Asper MBA employment statistics' or hiring profile. Good luck to you!

Calgary's average is usually around 640-650. Would still be a reach, not impossible.

Side note, you can actually type a school's name and average GMAT into google and find that info quickly, and/or look at profiles online or school websites too. Good luck!

Hi Jen,

I scored 690(Quant-49,Verbal-35, IR-3) in my second attempt. Hope IR will not play a spoiler.
I want to ask is 690 a good score for Schulich and rotman? If i need to apply to US, which universities i should apply with this score?

Hi,

Yes that score should help you at Rotman and Schulich. As for US schools, you could look at any programs outside the top 15-20 or so, but do some more research about what YOU would most like in a school. Here's some more reading on choosing schools: https://info.mbamission.com/Selecting-Yo ... ram-E-Book.

Good luck!

Overall just generally and globally Schulich would have the strongest reputation and ranking of those 3. Also keep in mind sometimes specific schools are best for YOU because of your goals; companies that hire there (see employment statistics on schools websites); the class size and curriculum you prefer; where you want to work after, etc. Good luck!
